Building and maintaining a service innovation strategy
Transform mindsets and practices to ensure the success of its innovation programme.
That’s the challenge to which Safran wanted a response, as the industrial group is experimenting with service innovation strategies at different levels of the organisation: group, subsidiary and inter-subsidiary.
On request from the Snecma Service Innovation Workshop (AIS), in 2015 we created the first service design Fablab in France: 230 sq. m dedicated to prototyping, user immersion and team coworking.
The space brings together a transformation-driven community, integrates new businesses and rolls out new innovation processes focused on services.
In two years, the Fablab has become the symbol for change and a place to explore new value opportunities for Safran.
The teams at Aktan continue to support the AIS in developing innovation projects at the Fablab, especially in coming up with digital services designed for the aerospace industry
